The ties we at the Rentfro Faulk Law Firm have to the Brownsville area are so deep, they predate us. The Rentfros have been members of this community since the late 1800's and the Faulks have been here since the beginning of the 1900's. R.B. Rentfro was a member of the Texas Constitutional Convention of 1876. Mr. Harry Lee Faulk, was a prominent local attorney who also served this community as a Texas state representative back in 1925. Luther Faulk and James Abney were also local attorneys. Subsequent family members have served as Mayor of Brownsville, school board trustee, city attorney, and municipal court judges. Mr. Harry Lee Faulk was also a school board member in Brownsville from 1936 to 1939 and his family donated the land for the construction of a middle school. As such, it was only fitting that on completion of the project, the new school was named for him.

Because of our dedication to the community, we do not take a one-size-fits-all approach to the practice of law. We look upon what we do as a craft.
